Impact Awards

Making Professional Development Affordable.

We offer bursaries (known as Impact Awards) for many of our CPD activities.

The bursaries can be used to contribute to covering the cost of CPD fees, supply cover, travel, accommodation, equipment for your school or in any other way that your school believes will help to improve the teaching of science.

Who is eligible?

In order to receive an Impact Award, teachers or technicians need to be working in a state funded school or college, including maintained schools, academies and free schools.

How much is the Impact Award bursary?

Impact Awards attract a bursary equivalent to 70% of the CPD fee paid for primary schools and 50% for secondary schools.

The bursaries are provided by the Department for Education. Awards are limited and funding is subject to availability.
